For centres & training providers:
Remote invigilation is available for EAL centres delivering eligible regulated qualifications, and training providers delivering eligible end-point assessments.
It is available only for approved onscreen examinations and assessments where EAL has confirmed that remote delivery is permitted. Learners will also need to meet the relevant technical and assessment environment requirements to take an examination remotely.
EAL determines which centres, qualifications and assessments are approved for remote invigilation.
Learners complete their examination from a controlled remote environment using EAL’s assessment platform and an approved remote proctoring service.
Before the assessment begins, checks are carried out to confirm the learner and their assessment environment meet the required conditions. The assessment session is securely recorded for review, helping to maintain assessment security and integrity throughout the process.
