Occupation overview

Propulsion technicians work to support the development of propulsion systems, like those you'd find in automobiles. A propulsion technician also explores hybrid and electric propulsion technology, and develops advanced control systems.

The propulsion technician carries out specialist tasks within a controlled environment to develop, improve, or create new propulsion technologies, playing a proactive role in development build or test delivery.

End-point assessment with EAL 

EAL is an end-point assessment organisation (EPAO), and listed on the Apprenticeship Providers and Assessment Register (APAR).
