The lead engineering maintenance technician supports installation and testing, upgrades, and maintenance of a variety of systems. The role is relevant within many sectors, as the role requires support on technical issues, and inspections on equipment and components. 

Lead engineering maintenance technicians assist in the delivery of asset management programmes that require complex planning, quality control, and effective communication.

End-point assessment with EAL 

EAL is an end-point assessment organisation (EPAO), and listed on the Apprenticeship Providers and Assessment Register (APAR).
