Occupation overview

Mechatronics maintenance technicians work in a variety of sectors with complex automated equipment. The role includes installation and testing, fault-finding and repair, and maintenance and modification of many different types of system. 

Employees are tasked to ensure the equipment is performing at a high enough level to meet safety requirements, as well as delivery and cost targets.

End-point assessment with EAL 

EAL is an end-point assessment organisation (EPAO), and listed on the Apprenticeship Providers and Assessment Register (APAR).
