The EAL Level 3 NVQ Extended Diploma in Marine Engineering is a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ). It involves the skills and knowledge needed for a wide variety of engineering occupations in marine engineering, dependent on the pathway chosen, building on the ability to organise work and identify and prevent problems.
This qualification is predominantly for learners 16-18 or 19+ who are interested in pursuing a career in the marine sector, including occupations and job roles such as marine engineer, electrical maintenance engineer, mechanical installations engineer, mechanical testing engineer, mechanical maintenance engineer, welding operative and electromechanical installer.
This qualification requires occupational evidence.
