The EAL Level 3 Diploma in Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technologies qualification allows the learner to take a hands-on approach to developing knowledge and understanding of a range of chosen disciplines, such as computer numerical control (CNC) manufacturing techniques, application and principles of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical and electronic principles in engineering.
Wider underpinning topics cover health and safety, communications, materials and mathematics. There are also general and supportive topics such as computer aided design (CAD) and topics covering enhancing technologies such as additive manufacture, industrial robot technology, Industry 4.0 and simulation and digital twinning.
