The EAL Level 3 Diploma in Aviation Maintenance (Development Competence) qualification covers the specific skills, knowledge, and behaviours for a range of aviation maintenance disciplines which have been developed in consultation with sector industry specialists and training providers to ensure that it meets the needs of industry, employers and apprentices and covers apprenticeship standards developed across the aviation maintenance sector.
Typical job roles Aircraft Maintenance Fitter/Technician (Fixed and Rotary Wing) and Survival Equipment Fitter. This qualification is mandated within the England Apprenticeship Standards Survival Equipment Fitter Level 3 - ST0015 and Engineering Technician Level 3 - ST0457.
The minimum age for registration is 16.
