The EAL Building Services Engineering (Level 3) – Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps qualification is an Occupational Competence Qualification. It has been developed to allow those in work-based learning to demonstrate and enhance their occupational knowledge, skills and understanding within their BSE trade.

On completion, the qualification will provide learners with the skills and knowledge required to work effectively and competently in their trade across the UK.  It is suitable for learners aged 16+ currently working in the trade area or learners who have completed a suitable EAL Progression qualification in Building Services Engineering (Level 2).

Successful completion of this qualification supports learners looking to progress into related areas such as low-carbon technologies, system design and building energy management, as well as those seeking progression into supervisory roles. It also provides a foundation for further study on other Level 3 BSE courses or at higher levels, such as, Level 4 technical qualifications and beyond.
