As the leading awarding organisation for Engineering & Manufacturing qualifications, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our latest offer in Scotland – the EAL Diploma in Engineering at SCQF Level 7. This competency-based qualification marks a significant development in the field, designed to meet the evolving needs of the industry.
The EAL Diploma in Engineering at SCQF L7 is now open for registrations, serving as a key pillar of support for the new modern Apprenticeship Framework in Engineering. However, it's not limited to apprenticeships; individuals can also pursue it as a standalone qualification, making it a versatile choice for those seeking to enhance their engineering expertise.
This qualification comprises three mandatory units, providing a solid foundation of knowledge and skills. It delivers flexible offerings through three pathways: Engineering Asset Lifecycle and Maintenance, Manufacturing and Fabrication, and Technical Support. Learners can select a pathway aligned with their job role, ensuring the qualification remains highly relevant to their professional development.
EAL is committed to supporting providers in Scotland. To showcase this innovative qualification and the extensive support available from our specialist team, our Lead Technical Advisor for Engineering and Manufacturing, Samantha Ashman, will meet with providers in Scotland for a week starting from Monday, 20th November.
If you would like to benefit from this opportunity and meet Samantha, please email her at [email protected].
EAL looks forward to empowering the engineering workforce in Scotland with this new qualification and comprehensive support.
