EAL enjoyed a fantastic two days at the Apprenticeships and Training Conference 2026 in Liverpool, connecting with training providers, partners and sector leaders from across the country.
Our stand was busy throughout the event, with many visitors stopping by to discuss developments in Building Services Engineering (BSE) and Engineering and Manufacturing provision. The conversations highlighted the strong commitment across the sector to delivering high-quality technical education and preparing the next generation of skilled professionals.
One of the highlights of the stand was our virtual welding experience, which allowed visitors to try their hand at welding in an immersive digital environment and sparked some great discussions about the role of technology in skills development.
It was inspiring to hear so many perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing apprenticeships today. A clear message emerged throughout the day: collaboration is key to bridging the skills gap and staying ahead of sector reforms.
A huge thank you to everyone who visited the EAL stand - it was great to connect with so many passionate professionals across the apprenticeship and training community.
