From 1 October 2026, new requirements under the Electrotechnical Assessment Specification (EAS) will come into force. Anyone undertaking or responsible for EV charging, solar PV, or electrical energy storage systems (EESS) must hold an accepted Level 3 qualification for the relevant scope.
In this webinar, EAL and NICEIC will guide you through what the 2026 EAS changes mean for certified businesses and individual electricians. We'll explain how the Electrician Plus model helps signpost qualified electricians to the right kitemarked, technology-specific EAL qualifications, and outline the entry requirements you'll need to meet.
We'll then explore the recognised routes to meet those entry requirements, including the Experienced Worker Assessment (EWA), helping you understand your options and plan with confidence.
Join us for a practical, informative session to gain clarity on the EAS changes, understand how to stay compliant, and take advantage of the opportunity to ask questions directly to our experts from EAL and NICEIC.
