In addition, this qualification is designed to meet the standards required for competency of employees of inspection companies who seek or have accreditation to ISO/IEC 17020 Conformity assessment - Requirements for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection. This also includes the basic competency requirements for personnel who carry out inspections as part of the certification of products to the appropriate product regulations and European Directives and employees of notified bodies accredited to ISO/IEC 17065 Conformity assessment – Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services.
