EAL Level 3 Diploma in Maritime Defence (Development Competence)

The Level 3 Diploma in Maritime Defence (Development Competence) is a Vocational Related Qualification (VRQ) aimed at apprentices in the maritime defence sector. It is suitable for learners 16-18 and 19+ who may be apprentices, new entrants into the industry or adults who may need to update or convert their existing skills and understanding. It will give learners specific skills and understanding of a range of maritime defence engineering techniques. 

The qualification covers the intermediate skills and understanding that are required by someone working in the maritime engineering sector in roles such as Maritime Electrical Fitter, Maritime Mechanical Fitter, Maritime Fabricator and Maritime Pipeworker.
