The EAL Level 3 Award in Mobile Oxy-Acetylene/Propane Gas User Safety Practice and Procedures is a Vocational Related Qualification (VRQ). It has been specifically designed for 18+ learners from a wide range of industry backgrounds, work environments and sectors, including engineering and manufacturing, technology, medical, laboratory, chemical, transport, defence and cryogenic applications.
The qualification enables learners to develop both a technical and practical appreciation of the purpose and function of the components comprising typical Mobile Oxy-Fuel gas cylinder unit. It ensures learners will understand the techniques involved in, the Before Use Checking, Safe Light up and Shutdown of a Mobile Oxy Fuel Gas System. In addition learners must demonstrate an understanding of the legislative and code of practice requirements for the safe transport of gas cylinders in open and closed vehicles.
