The EAL Level 2 Award in Employment Rights and Responsibilities for New Entrants to the Science, Engineering and Manufacturing Sectors qualification is a Vocational Related Qualification (VRQ) which has been created to enable learners to develop their knowledge of Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) and to provide opportunities for personal development.
It can also be used by Employers for new recruits other than Apprentices as part of an induction programme.
This qualification informs the learner of their employment rights and responsibilities under the law, the main employment details and procedures, the types of career pathways and qualifications that are open to them, how the sector or occupation that they work in is seen from an external viewpoint, by the public and the representative bodies relevant to their industry and organisation and their roles and responsibilities
The qualification also provides opportunities to gain an awareness and understanding of wider social, cultural and health & safety issues.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification; although, in all cases delivery Centres should ensure that the learners have the potential to achieve the learning outcomes for the mandatory unit. Learners must also have the minimum levels of literacy and numeracy to comply with any health and safety aspects.
As an approved centre, you can deliver recognised EAL qualifications to your learners, and receive ongoing support from our team.
We are always happy to understand how our qualifications work for you. If you have any feedback, please forward it to us.
