In October, the Technical Advisors had a productive and engaging journey in Wales. Building relationships with educational institutions and discussing key developments and opportunities such as expanding the portfolio further in sectors such as fabrication, welding, and renewable is crucial for supporting the growth and progress of the industry.
Visiting Coleg Menai, Coleg Cambria, and Coleg Meirion Dwyfor in North Wales, we discussed sustainability and how to meet net-zero targets. The discussions demonstrated a proactive approach to addressing industry challenges and aligning with broader environmental goals.
The list of centres we visited in South Wales, including Pembrokeshire College, Control 2k Limited, Cardiff and Vale College, Coleg Sir Gar, Gower College Swansea, Coleg Gwent, The College Merthyr Tydfil, Coleg Y Cymedd, Coleg Menai, Coleg Ceredigion, More Training and Bridgend College reflects a comprehensive outreach effort to cover a wide range of institutions in the region.
Expressing gratitude for their continuous support and reinforcing the commitment to Wales is a positive message that fosters ongoing collaboration. It's evident that our team values the partnerships with these educational institutions and is dedicated to contributing to the success of the industry in Wales.
Overall, it was a successful trip, and the relationships built during this visit will likely contribute to the continued growth and development of the technical and vocational education sector in Wales with EAL being at the heart of this.
