The EAL team love nothing more than to be out on the road visiting and supporting our partners.
This February....
The EAL team had a great day visiting the Rail and Engineering Academy open day at Capital City College Group! Thanks to all the team for showing us around. The facilities are top-notch and the opportunities for those interested in a career in Rail are outstanding.
We attended the Annual Apprenticeship Conference and ran a successful panel session on improving apprenticeships with speakers from EAL Awards and Enginuity.
This session explored the role of a successful partnership between the employer and provider in supporting apprentices in completing their certificates, ultimately creating a better supply chain of skilled employees for our economy.
Panellists Jonty Deeley-Williamson (UKBIC ), Megan Salkeld (Burnley College), Sarah Dhanda (Enginuity), Anna Fritz (EAL Awards), Warren Page (Xtrac Ltd) and Ruth Devine MBE (SJD Associates Ltd) shared experiences and views on the delivery of apprenticeship standards, approaches to overcoming challenges and opportunities leading to better outcomes for employers and learners.
We also had a great visit to Ron Dearing UTC to see their facilities and employer engagement. Thank you to the team for showing us around. We look forward to working with you on future projects.
