Oxy-Acetylene/Propane Gas User Safety, Practice and Procedures
These nationally accredited EAL qualifications in compressed and liquefied gases safety are offered in partnership with Proactive Gas Safety (PGS), the training partner of Air Liquide in the UK. These qualifications provide learners with evidence of their competencies and skills, to support their ongoing career development and help employers demonstrate the abilities of their workforce.
There are no entry qualifications or age limits required by learners to undertake this qualification unless this is a legal requirement of the process or the environment. Assessment is open to any learner who has the potential to achieve the assessment criteria set out in the assessment.
This qualification is relevant to learners from a wide range of industry backgrounds and work environments, including engineering and manufacturing, laboratory, chemical, transport, defence and cryogenic gas.
This qualification is assessed through multiple choice questions and practical demonstrations. Learners also compile a portfolio of evidence to support their learning.
The qualification has combine taught and practical components.
