This qualification allows learners to demonstrate the skills and knowledge needed to supervise a variety of supply chain activities. Learners are required to take four mandatory units relating to supply chain and logistics management, and thereafter ten optional units chosen from four further groups.

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification although Centres should ensure that learners have the potential to achieve the qualification unit.

Existing workers occupying a strategic role within the supply chain sector, involved in planning, procurement or operations management

Assessment will be carried out in the workplace (unless otherwise specified) via observation and the collation of evidence in a portfolio.

This qualification is designed to be undertaken in the workplace.
