Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing and Heating
This qualification focuses on complex knowledge and understanding of a broad range of plumbing activities. This ensures that when the learner completes the qualification they have gained practical experience and expectation of some of the situations that they could face in a job role within the plumbing sector. The qualification does not require occupational evidence. This is NOT a competency based qualification, and as such the learners would need additional competence training if they were successful in securing employment in industry.

Pass - 32 Points
Learners must have successfully completed: EAL Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing and Heating and / or EAL Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing and Heating. Centres should also ensure that the learners have the potential to achieve the units selected within this qualification. Learners must have the minimum levels of literacy and numeracy to comply with the health and safety aspects of the scheme, the completion of the learning outcomes and any assessment requirements.
Learners who are progressing from the Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing and Heating and have the ability to achieve a Level 3 Plumbing and Heating qualification.
This qualification is assessed by: on-screen exams simulated practical assessments.
This qualification is Centre based and combines classroom and workshop sessions.
