  • Webinar: Teaching new qualification to domestic electrician apprentices

As our homes become smarter, we need to ensure the right skills are in place to reflect the shift in modern domestic power consumption and so EAL is launching a new Level 3 Electrotechnical in Dwellings qualification for England.

On Wednesday, 21 September, a webinar, hosted by EAL product specialist Kevin Sparrow and Bill Lockyer from NET, will discuss the new qualification and help prepare centres to teach it to domestic electrician apprentices. There will also be a Q&A.

EAL Level 3 Electrotechnical in Dwellings 610/1335/3 will cover a wide range of electrical skills and training required in the modern home.

In line with all EAL qualifications, it has been fine-tuned for the needs of the sector through EALs long-term partnerships with employers, professional bodies and its parent organisation, Enginuity. The Level 3 will provide learners with the skills and knowledge that employers need.

The webinar will be recorded and uploaded to the EAL website for those unable to attend on the day.
