A change to the titling of SVQ qualifications is scheduled to be introduced on 1 September 2016.
From this date the SVQ level is to be dropped from qualification titles and only the SCQF level will be specified. The implementation of the new titling convention is expected to remove potential confusion with the current use of two levels in qualification titles and help promote the SCQF.
