Pasty company Ginsters has tasted yet more success – winning the EAL Skills and People category at The Manufacturer of the Year 2014 Awards.
Ginsters were presented with the award by EAL’s Managing Director Julia Chippendale at a ceremony and Gala dinner held at the ICC in Birmingham.
Ginsters, which began life as a family business in Cornwall in 1967 before becoming part of Samworth Brothers 10 years later, now employs around 800 staff and produces over 3 million savoury products each week.
The company produces a wide range of “food on the move” products including pasties, pies, slices and sandwiches. Ginsters’ original Cornish Pasty is the best-selling Cornish Pasty in the UK and the company is the Number one savoury pastry and sandwich brand.
