EAL is the first End-Point Assessment organisation to deliver the new Machining Technician Standard (ST1305) for the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering (AME) sector. The new standard is an Ofqual regulated Level 3 engineering and manufacturing qualification for apprentices. It aligns with professional recognition from the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS), Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) for Engineering Technician (EngTech).
