Following the launch of EAL’s Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification - 601/7345/2, our new electrical apprenticeship qualification for England, the RPL guidance document has been updated.

Showing how learners can progress onto this new qualification from a variety of qualifications they may hold, this document may be downloaded from the publications section of EAL Connect.

There is also an updated science and principles unit (NETK3/08) which now accurately describes the retake rule for the theory assessments of the unit. Both the on-line exam and the Centre marked controlled written paper are gradable on the first attempt only. Resits will only be eligible for a pass grade maximum. The unit now reflects the information as already given in the Qualification Manual.
