The new academic year is off to a great start and many of our Centres are scheduling exams on an ongoing basis. With this in mind, we’re continuing to share our handy exam tips with you.
EAL is undertaking planned maintenance of the exam system between 5.00pm on 27th September and 5.00pm on 29th September, during which time the system will be unavailable for exam use.
We would request that customers please not attempt to run exams online or offline during this period as there is a risk of data loss.

The exam system will be available as normal from 5.00pm on Tuesday 29th September.
EAL has removed the requirement to claim the SLC component for both Level 1 and Level 2 Functional Skills English qualifications.
Submission of a completed record of candidate achievement is now the only requirement in order to claim the SLC component.
