About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, organised and customer focused individual to join our friendly and creative Brand and Communications team. Working in a small team and reporting to the Head of Brand and Communications, you will play a major role in coordinating events, one being our annual Enginuity Skills Awards. You will be responsible for enabling the Enginuity Group - including EAL - to increase our portfolio of events, while adding value by supporting the team to grow our brand internally and externally.
What you'll be doing
Events coordination is a major part of the role, and you will play a key role in organising our annual Enginuity Skills Awards. The Enginuity Skills Awards is a pivotal event in our calendar, providing an opportunity to celebrate the talent throughout the industries we serve; to promote the charitable value that Enginuity delivers, and to engage with a wide network. You will project manage the delivery of events in close coordination with stakeholders including partners and sponsors, ensuring that all requirements are monitored and met ahead of deadlines. Your role will build and maintain new and existing relationships with key individuals for involvement in the arrangements of events and social activities. The role will be working closely with the marketing managers to understand their priorities and support where possible, for example by positing on social media, helping with analytics, creating assets and banners, and supporting the engagement piece with our internal and external stakeholders. You will be managing the marketing team’s email account and taking ownership of the team’s content plan, ensuring the document is updated throughout the week, with progress and actions captioned during weekly team meetings. While supporting staff across the business with any requests for brand templates and assets.
You will have demonstrable experience in marketing and events management with strong organisational skills both in terms of the day-to-day marketing operations and with events coordination. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be customer focused and proficient in Microsoft Office. This role requires an individual with strong interpersonal and organisational skills. With the capabliltiy of delivering an outstanding client management experience to meet expectations.
